What do you think of my wheels?

It came with my car when I bought it a month ago.

I think it's the stock 18" wheels.

Looks kind of ugly to me.

And center caps looks kind of beat up too. Can I buy new center caps somewhere?

They are style 189 and came from the factory on 335's with sport package. And no you can't buy new center caps anywhere. They've been outlawed.

I have them on my 328 also. The wheel caps you can buy at the dealership or from various other sources. I recently found out first hand that the ones at the dealership went from about 10 bucks a piece to 25 bucks a piece CAD. Luckily, I wasn't paying.

The wheel caps come in at least 2 different diameters (68mm and 64.5mm). What do I have?

The center caps are an easy fix. I bought my E92 a couple months ago and like the Style 189's, except for the curbrash the PO left for me. I'll be looking for Style 225, 269 or 313's when I'm ready to retire them.

From my experience there are plenty of center caps on websites such as Amazon. I picked my current ones up for under $10 to replace the heinous orange and white ones the previous owner installed.

I'll have to measure the diameter of mine. As I said, there are several diameters available.

I like the look for style 189s for stockers. Too bad they are like 50 lbs each with tires.

What are some good light weight alternatives that aren't super expensive.

Check out m0dbargains.com. They have a bunch of different brands ranging in price. I personally like the VMR V710's and at just under $1,000 the price isn't that bad either. A friend of mine has them on his e90 and they look fantastic!

How do I know these rims will fit? Some will require spacers and some won't fit my tires. It's a little confusing.

I picked up a square set of Apex Arc8s in 18x9.5 +35mm. I think they weight like 18lbs per wheel compared to 32 lbs per wheel with style 189s.

I got mine used with tires for $900 but I think the wheels alone are around 1300 for 4.

My rims are 8" wide and 8.5" wide in the rear so 9.5" rims will probably not be compatible with my tires.

Oh, I didn't realize you wanted to reuse your tires.

I don't have to. They're not that good anyhow, it's the stock Bridgestone Potenza run flats.

Any disadvantages to 9.5" over 8"/8.5" ? I would imagine the tires would be more expensive.

My car is an xDrive so may be it makes sense to make all 4 the same width.
