Oil catch!?

The more I search, the more I am scared...
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=520227

So, I assume all N54 engine has the same problem?
May I ask how would this affect the car/engine?

Then I have found this:
http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_335_oil_catch_can.html
Oil catch from BMS

Does anyone use it or something similar? Is it really effective?

I don't think its a reason to be 'scared' its just a build up not an explosive charge... just account for it in your future servicing plan

The catch can will certainly help

The uneven carbon build up on valves causing for poor idling. After you clean them (scrubbing carby cleaner) car feels like new.
