weird bluetooth issue

I am not sure if this is a glitch or if there is something I am not doing right:
I have a MY08 E93 with iDrive and I keep my iPhone 3G connected via Bluetooth. If I am on a conversation and switch to the iPhone speaker (through the iPhone itself) to get out of the car, the music gets back on (which is normal), but then stays on even if I take the key fob out and lock the doors. The only way to turn the system off is to terminate the call.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Press the Start/Stop button again. Should shut down the system.

Sure sounds like a bug. Nothing you can do about it other than complaining to the dealer in hope that they will relay it up the chain.

I will try to replicate it on mine.
