Have had my AP for about a year now and loving it. Did my first logging today. Can someone have a look at mine as well? Anything glaring I should know about? I'm using Stg1 Aggressive IJEOS v301 running 94 octane on a pretty much bone stock car. Drop in filter and BMW Performance exhaust is about it.
Thanks

I personally have a 5 gallon gas tank & try to keep 3 gallons of E85 on stand by, that way I can add it right at a gas station before I fill up on 93. |

Different maps (v2.03, v3.01, v4.01)
I decided to try different maps v2.03, v3.01, and v4.01 Stage 1 aggressive maps (standard throttle).
After switching between the maps a few times, I felt v2.03 to be the more powerful one, maybe Cobb can share dynos for those. Furthermore, I observed slight carbon build up in the exhaust tips with v4.01 map. I have also read similar comments between v2.03 and v3.01 on which one felt more powerful, at this point I will stick to v2.03 not just because it feels more powerful but I have not observed the carbon build up. |

The most likely cause for this is a leak(s) in the cold piping. Another thing to check is to the vacuum hoses connecting the vacuum solenoids to the actuators for cracks or other defects. |

Right, wouldn't say build up per say, but yes darker. Unburnt fuel sounds to be more like it.

more or less, it was about an observation. Just appeared to have blacker tail pipes after flashing the COBB. and just wanted to see if that's normal
cheers...

1st Attempt , Log Stage 1 Aggressive, V4.01
1st Attempt to Log Stage 1 Aggressive, V4.01 - AT 2 and 3 gear. Maybe someone with more knowledge can take a look.
Looks like some minor timing pulls, but nothing major. 93 Chevron fill up. Load targets looked a bit odd. I forgot to log throttle...thanks for any help. (csv attached as a .txt, i guess that’s the only way to upload) Would be nice to try to dial in a bit more HP and a little less torque. I have been playing with ATR but havent downloaded any maps to the car. |

Aggressive does provide more power and torque... however, why on earth would you be pushing he car when it's below 2Krpms? These engines are torque monsters but jeez you still need to keep the revs at least above 2.5K before you requesting full load.

In ideal conditions it probably averages about 20hp/tq between the two. If you have access to 93 then go ahead and flash on over to aggressive and give it a day or so to adapt and then log it to see how the car is doing. |

Firmware update new Cobb
How long does the initial firmware update take on a new Cobb AP? I installed my new Cobb unit on my car and everything went fine. However I then plugged it into my computer and ran AP Manager and the AP Manager now indicates "downloading updater files: 4.0 mb/ 4.0mb." It has been stuck at this screen for over 15 minutes. Does it normally take this long to update the firmware? If no, how do i stop it without messing something up. I'm unable to click on manage, updates, options, ap info, and eject AP. Thanks in advance.
