where is he when you need him lool

seriously now what was the argument all about, what does the procede target anyway 13 afrs? lol noooo!!! 12 so why were there paragraphs on this and DI and Non-DI explanations etc etccc it didnt help the OP and at the end of the day both tunes targets 12s, whether its earlier or later in the powerband, earlier is safer for me.

Man need to get the war restarted..joke

on stg1 when i was fully catless, i had white oil smelling smoke come out while stopped/ or at a standstill but it didnt always happen only once in a while. with stg2 i currently have my stock exhaust on and havent found time to put back on my CBE but no smoke at all with my current setup.

Jeff, one thing you need to realize is that a select few of us that you're labeling as bored are actually here for the better of the community..when a vendor/tuner/tune/member is being deceitful and militantly aggressive with their marketing believe me we'll come in and try open up a discussion to clarify things...if we didn't comment on past experiences and improvements there would be no need for this forum and the community would be nothing but a bunch of potential customers not enthusiasts...so please realize that, if you can't then I don't know what to tell ya

Also when I mentioned intakes/exhausts and related posts from "bored" ppl I didn't mean newcomers but anyways...

Oh why oh why do i have to waste my time reading minimum of two pages of bull to get through a technical thread.
These threads could be a genuinely useful resource for a new user in the next year and when he has to start a new thread with the same question dont berate him as he has tried searching but CBA'd with the off topic madness.

Anyway, thanks to those who came with info, (both sides) and the comedy japan pic :O

Mate, it's just the way our American cousins do things. We Brits tend to avoid "off topic madness", whereas Stateside..........you are right of course, it does create a background noise. But, you know, takes all sorts to make this happy BMW community. And you have to say, they are the second best nation on this planet, after our good selves.

LMAO. You're deluding yourself if you think some part of the population is immune to childish flame wars in forums.

P.S. Thanks for the off topic post. (and you're welcome to those who make the same claim against me, though i never said I don't contribute to the madness)

I've noticed since switching from Procede to Cobb for daily driving that Cobb has made my exhaust a lot louder. It's louder, gurgles more, and pops between shifts and on deceleration.

I've also noticed a hint of smoke that isn't there with the Procede.

Has anyone else noticed this stuff with a completely catless exhaust? My theory is that it's running very rich. It's got to be tune related as it disappears with the Procede.
Have you logged your AFR? My guess is you are running our typical 12.0 AFR unless something mechanically may be going wrong.

Cheers,
Rob
