Hi Gang,

Well… in keeping with my German Car Museum series… this little jewel is located in downtown Munich. It houses a lot of historical transportation items. Mostly cars and trains and trucks and buses. No planes. But one helicopter! lol

The museum consists of three big halls. The first two are obvious but that last new hall is kind of hidden. I almost kissed out in seeing it. That would have been a shame bc it was the largest and the best as far as what all was on display inside the hall. It also looked to me as if they are in the process of building a fourth hall to house more cars! So in a year or two it should be finished.

The museum is located in downtown Munich. Parking is tough, so it is best to take the U-bahn to the museum. Take: U4 and U5 to 'Schwanthalerhöhe' stop. You will be just a few meters walk once you exit the U-bahn. 'Schwanthalerhöhe' stop is only seven (or so)stops from Munich’s Marien Platz in downtown Munich. It wasn’t hard riding the U-bahn there. Plan on staying a few hours in the museum.

You can see more of my photos here:

Ok, Enjoy my pics. I tired not to over load the server this time around! :P
The photos were taken last weekend.

Yep, its perfect place to visit before picking up your car at the Welt. Because this museum is located away from any real park haus... so the best way to get there is to take the U-Bahn. I would say afterwards to go to the English Gartens and have a beer and dinner at the Chinese Tower(Torm) afterwards.
