From the original ED invoice pricelist:

335i coupe $34,360
Step 1210 + 90 for paddles
ZSP 910
Metallic 430
ZPP 2230
Nav 1910
Heat 455
Dest 695

Total = 42,290

Add 1210 for dealer profit and your deal is at 43.5k.
If your dealer won't do that then PM me and I will recommend one that does.
Check the "what are you paying for your E92" sticky at the top of this forum section as well.

Not to steal docs thunder, but yes you do. And if you are lucky you get to keep both.

I will be going on a VIP tour of the BMW factory, and BMW World at the end of September, and beginning of October. (Oktoberfest). I will try and get some informative pics.

Hotrod182, you will get to have delivery at the new Welt -- that will be mind-blowing cool. Be sure to map out how to document the delivery with your video camera, and post up the vids here ASAP!

Edit: looks like the Welt will not be open for EDs until later in Oktober -- see JSpira's posts on the Welt.

I found this standing wave on a branch of the Isar in Munich as it passes under a little bridge in the englischergarten -- at the south end, right off Prinzregentenstrasse, just east of the art museum. Not worth bringing your board and wetsuit for unless you are hitting some other sites. But if you have a friend that you can borrow one from :rocks:
There is a definite trick to getting started -- you have to launch from the bank at just the right angle. And save the beers for after.

Well, we are coming up on our one-year anniversary. Not much to say except I still absolutely love this car. It's like being in a perfect marriage with no slack in passion over the years.... No problems, reasonably economical, fun as hell to drive day-to-day, comfortable as a high tech living room on long trips, lots of great options for modding... I'm in love as much today as when we first deposited a tenth of a mm of Bridgestone rft pulling out of the Euro delivery center. (I don't think that they would smile on that in the new Welt...).

I said the same thing at my 1-year anniversary. I can't believe I'm still "driving for fun" as much as I was at the very beginning. Consistently putting 1K miles/month, when going to/from work is only about 150 miles/month.

It's crazy, I thought the infatuation would wear off, but I love this car as much today as I did on Day 1.

Another happy owner here as the one year anniversary approaches. Though I don't get to drive the car as much as I'd like. I can't wait to do another ED however! My next car will be a 135i, 335i, or M3, and its going to be an ED for sure.

Hi many miles are you guys up to? I think we are at about 16k now.

At one year, I was just under 12K miles. I'm at 13.5 months and have right about 13,500 miles. I hadn't intended to do 1000 miles/month, but it's worked out that way like clockwork, every month since I bought the car.

I'd love to do ED for the next car, but we'll see where I am in terms of kids' ages then. Also, who knows when I'll be in the mood to buy another car again... maybe after 4 yrs/50K miles, but if this car keeps on pleasing me the way it does now, I might just keep this one for a while. It's one hell of a car.

I am almost at 10k. Waiting on a new tire today -- wife found an enormous staple/nail on a trip to Arkansas, she phoned at midnight on the way back complaining about the stupid car because a bright red cup looking icon just appeared in the instrument pod. It might have been salvageable had she found the staple and pulled it out right away, but after driving all the way back on it the tire shop guy said it would be impossible to safely patch the damage -- two holes almost 1/4" each. I thought about plugging it, but it would be in the back of my mind every time I took a corner at speed. Amazing that the tire only deflated a couple pounds. I have an expenses-paid trip to France in April '08 -- can't think of an excuse for another ED yet though. It will be painful not to have my car over there, two weeks in southern France. Hopefully I can rent a diesel Touring.

In-freaking-credible...I wish I was able to plan something like that...it looks incredible. My ancestors are all from Germany and I would love to go over there, picking up a car built there would have only made it that much nicer. Congrats and thanks a million for sharing!!

Awesome, post up some pics! How was driving in Prague? Make sure to follow your car on the ship tracker threads, it makes the time go like molasses, but it vents the anguish of waiting.

Do it. do it, do it. Sooner (younger) the better. One of the best experiences in life is visiting relatives from your family's place of origin. I don't think I have any close German relatives left, but my son and I both felt like Munich was our long lost home. Next trip I'd like to look up my relatives in the Netherlands.

Driving your own car gives you a feeling of belonging to a place. You do the simple, everyday things, like stopping to help push someone's stuck car, or pulling into a grocery store for some snacks. It's a wonderful freedom.
