2007 328xi 240xxx miles New 100k transmission install
I replace the transmission in my 07 with a transmission out of a 08, after installing the transmission the cars started up and ran fine.
Once the transmission seems to get warm there is a shutter/thumping that is still present I will attach A video down below. I am currently waiting for the transmission to cool off so I can properly check the fluid level again. In this fluid I have there is roughly 2 bottles of anti shanti shutter mixed in which I dropped out of my old transmission the fluid was new in the old transmission. View post on imgur.com I reset adaptions and engine adaptions via ista, and replaced the ambient air temp sensor which really seemed to help. *also could be the placebo effect*. The only module fault I currently have is FRM error 00923E 00A8A8 00A8AB 00A8BB All the codes pertain to headlights and lowbeams. |

Do not know what those clunks are. 07 and 08 transmissions have the same part number, so that should be fine.
Was the torque converter from the replacement transmission or the original transmission. I hope it is not a bum 08 transmission. The "new" fluid was from your original transmission, right? Not that came in the replacement transmission? |
