Stay away from EUROPLATES.COM

So I ordered a custom euro plate from these guys on Sept. 16. That same day I paid for the plate as well and received an email saying the order has been received and will be processed in 10-14 days.

Fast forward a couple of weeks and still nothing. After several calls I was told that those plates where running couple of orders behind and it would just take a few days more.

As I was getting closer to Oct. 10 car show I was getting very nervous as these guys haven't managed to come up with any more info or any updates on the shipment. Come Oct. 9 I'm on the phone with Joslynn who is the customer service supervisor and she of no use what so ever. Her solution to this backed up order is to provide me with $5 dollars of bolts. I explained to her that they have royally screwed up and I asked her to contact her accounting department and see what she can do. Get an email back saying there is nothing she can do.

Here we are today Oct. 16 I still don't have a plate or any more info. I just got off the phone with her and she still is useless. On top of that supposedly the whole accounting department is in Europe and everyone is out of reach. Ridiculous.

i got my europlate from germanplates.com got them within 2 weeks and looked great!

i just checked out the site and it definantly doesnt look trustworthy. hate to say it but it looks as if u were scammed man, i mean it doesnt even have any verifications that it is a trusted site.

I filed a complain with the Central Florida Better Business Bureau and I notified my Bank about this charge. Funny thing is BBB is on there ass because there Customer Supervisor called me asked what she could do to resolve this issue

Sorry about the lack of responses, I just assumed nobody was looking at this thread anymore

So here is what happened after my last conversation with them;

I filed a claim with the Central Florida BBB. I also filed a claim with US Postal service about the delivery package (they send me bogus shipping info, saying that the plate shipped on so and so date) which the carrier could not find or provide me with any info on.

And lastly I contacted my bank and explained what had happened. They refunded my money right away and the investigation is still pending.

Hey there, I ran across this post and was pretty bummed. Since Oct 2009 we have made some major changes at the company. New customer service manager and new accounting. Our europlates ship within 10 business days unless there is some special circumstance.

Check out the new europlates.com and let us know what you think.
