Thanks! I never heard anything from the vishnu guys though so I don't know if they ever saw the thread.

We don't have exact numbers for that yet. Shiv has not released that information, except to say it will be more than the current version (which is $1,300).

Let's just wait for the official information from Shiv before everybody gets all worked up about what others speculate the price might or might not be. Until then, let's just be happy about the new info we got via this thread. :rocks:

That's a big ditto. No reason to get worked up until there's something tangible to get worked up about.

You are right. Plus, in fact the price for the upgrade will not be that important compared to the fun you will get with V2. Got a little frustrated during the last weeks but now I'm happy again seeing V2 will come soon.

Shiv, you did a great job but the waiting time has been really hard for me to get some of the final V2 facts. Don't do this again . There is still a kid inside me you should respect .

I am sure your product will have big success on the market.

Cheers

My guess is $100 - $150. A fair price for what you will get. If it will cost like that you won't buy it ? I don't believe so ...
Shiv already broke down the cost for the v2 upgrade harness... "maybe you werent listening?"

wire... $.02
Bmw pin... $0.75
PRocede pin... $0.85
Crimp labor.. $1.0

total: $2.62

And double that if you need 2 wires.

And don't forget another $3 for shipping.

So yes, the updates aren't completely free. But you may have to skimp on a couple of chai tea lattes to pay for it. Sorry

Cheers,
shiv
Anyone know the going rate of a chai tea latte???

That price breakdown is a bit out-of-date. The harness turned out to be quite a bit more complicated to make than what we planned for initially. Both in terms of parts cost and labor. Still going to be very reasonable though. I don't expect to hear too many groans

The picture was a little blurry but I think I noticed some kind of white box attached to the harness...

BTW guys forked out the 1350 out of my account so maybe the wife won't notice (yeah right). Well 1 of my 5 planned mods down and 26% of the money (aside from labor) spent. I'm on my way!

Counting the days....I hope the price is very reasonable! Already forked over a chunk of change Shiv. I understand you got to cover the assembly costs though.

Oh rest assured, you are not the only person who dynos cars.
We've all dynoed our tuned cars with different stages of tunes for comparison.
And I'm also sure Shiv himself will post final production v2.0 dyno numbers (at max and maybe even lower power levels) for comparison with a stock 335i as well as vs. version 1.47
And there are many other people who've had PROcedes and 335i's for longer who deserve to be one of the first to get v2.0.

And if he does have to do shipping order, his original Xede/PROcede beta testers should be first, then those of us who were his first PROcede customers who wrote and posted glowing reviews as well as dynos, and track times (which are what helped spur sales immensely) in the first week or so of PROcede release deserve to get the v2.0
And then there's a few of us who have bought 2 PROcedes from him too....
It probably won't matter much as hopefully by the time v2.0 is ready Shiv and his crew will have enough harnesses made he can ship hundreds of them out all at the same time.

BTW Shiv, thanks for the updates.
As you know, many of us have been waiting for the switchable maps for 6-7 months now, so it's great to hear and get a final confirmation that will be included with v2.0
The sell adjusting torque output confirmation is too.
Nice work.

Is there a reason why you are posting your problems with your wife in general forced induction ?

I was saying I bought a Procede (an item that you overwhelmingly endorse)....so that seems to be a resonable reason in itself. I appologize if I offended your delicate sensabilities.
