Windshield Crack Repair (NOVA)?
Anyone know a good place that can repair a small crack (about 5 inches long) on my 07 e90 windshield in the Fairfax area? I keep seeing Safelight but was hoping to get some personal experience from anyone in here.

I recommend Patriot Auto Glass :http://patriotautoglassva.com/patrio...timonials.html
I've used them twice to replace windshield glass on my 99 540 and 08 335i. Know several others who have had cracks and chips repaired and very satisfied. They are a mobile service out of Ashburn. |

Since they are mobile, may not be in the office much. I always had good luck emailing:

I had a windshield replacement done at Windshield City in Chantilly last year. I think it was $170. They came down in price after I mentioned another forum member that recommended them. They did a great job and had no problem with me watching every step. The owner seems like a good guy too. I'd highly recommend them.

Dang...I didn't see that you already had it done. That quote was for non-OEM glass, which I preferred. I think it was Guardian. It doesn't seem to pit as easily as the OEM glass. I have the blue tint on the top unlike OEM too.
Looks like you're happy with the job you had done though, so don't look back! |
