Questions on Eisenmann Install
It's going to be installed tommorow, is there anything special I should ask for? Anything I need to be aware of?

I recommend welding the system on instead of using a clamp. Also throughout the duration of the break in period, the tone of the exhaust will vary. Once the exhaust is broken in, the tone will stay consistent. Break-in period of the exhaust, which is about 500 to 1000 miles.

Ryan, I am also putting my order at the end of the month for the racing exhaust. However if later on I decide that I want to add the SR Catalytic Converter Back Bolt On Pipes, will it be a problem or should both exhaust and pipes be installed at the same time? Does it matter? Please advice. Thanks.

You can always add the SR pipes later, its no problem at all. In fact I recommend our customers buy the exhaust first to see how they like the sound/performance before buying the full system. Cheers, Ryan |

Ryan, how does the sound of just the muffler compare to stock and the full eisenmann system?

The Eisenmann exhaust by itself is throatier than the stock system. The SR pipes eliminate the front resonators making the exhaust tone very deep. Another advantage of the Eisenmann full cat back system is the weight reduction over the stock system. To some weight may not be an important factor but for me I like an exhaust systems to be strong, light and free flowing. Cheers |

I will also be placing an order very soon but the nice thing is I can just drive over and pick it up since im in bloomingdale right next to you guys. One major question I have is....Is there any drone inside the car from the exhaust?

On the eisenmann site they give a decibel count on the noise from the exhuast but it doesn't seem reliable considering they only do it on an E36 m3.

True. The E36 M3 decibel count will be very different from the E90 system. |

I will let Hunter answer this one, since he has the full Eisenmann cat back system on his car. |

On your website you only list the 330i but im assuming your exhaust also will fit the 330xi? I just dont know which exhaust to get. I like the race but i just dont know it its going to be to loud and drone inside the car because if thats the case then the sport exhaust is for me. I just dont want to sound like a ricer lol.......

The Race Performance makes up for 95% of our BMW sales. If you installed the Race system with just the rear muffler only ( no SR pipes) there will be no drone. I’m not sure if this is the case for the full cat back system. Even with the Racing application, the sound is not overbearing or obnoxious like you hear from the Japanese import cars on the street. The Eisenmann Racing Performance mufflers deliver a unique European tone which is very throaty and deep and will become aggressive and noticeable under WOT. Cheers |

The Eisenmann Race Performance with 2x76mm is the most popular. The 4x70mm Quad system requires some modification to the rear bumper. With the 2x76mm there is no modification needed. Cheers |

I saw the exhaust and dropped off my car, should be done tommorow. The exhaust looked like it was in great shaped and was all shiny, polished and ready to go. Excited!

Thanks, those clips are what convinced to buy it in the first place. Pricy little bugger ain't it. It's a good thing my summer job pays unreasonably well. $30 and hour to sit in a chair, listen to my ipod and hold a sign. The people I work for were shocked when the sign holder drove up in a 3 series.
