Have you ever driven a 997 Turbo Carl? I haven't, but have been told by Leeds OPC that as a daily drive or if you prefer, me commuting to work as well as play they aren't as 'manageable' as lesser 997's?
Bloke told me that before you know it, you've hit the red line, need to change up, hit the red line, need to change up. In other words, you're hitting 3 figure speeds bloody quickly - sounds like fun to me. They're still currently expensive though. Please don't mention payrises. |

I've driven a 911 (997) turbo
If I bought one I would 100% have no licence in a month Fantastic car though Probably the ultimate daily driver?? The raw speed of it is utterly fantastic!

My parking lot at work is like a supercar showroom, one of my colleagues had a 996 turbo and 997 S at the same time (bought the 997 cheap while he still had the 996, and then couldn't sell it for love nor money).
Kept the 997 and much prefers it, slower but feels more resolved. ETA: Wish they sounded better though, I can't quite click with the boxer engine soundtrack. To me it sounds like a bag of nails, but general concensus seems to be its a wonderful racing sound. Do you have to live with one to begin to appreciate it? Should you have to? |

Investments and property. I do the marketing (hence why I have the bmw lol). I'll take a pic one day, amazing how you get used to seeing all those exotica outside your window and find it weird when people stop and take photos. Get a bit immune to it, which is a shame...
(all tasteless stuff though, no style to any of it... think 'city boys' and you've got the right idea... even seen a disgustingly styled Murcielago? I wouldn't have believed you could make it ugly, but yep, you can) |

Not me unfortunately Im a director though (bloody should be, i've been there 8 years).
I think the funniest thing i've seen so far is one of the guys just bought a 360 cab manual. He can't drive it for toffee. It's so incredibly funny to hear him attempt to leave the car park in front of everyone, revving the proverbial tetas off it, from cold. The other is the guy that has destroyed the gearboxes on each car he's owned (SL55, 360, Gallardo (wrote it off), Murcielago). It's a shame these cars often fall into non-enthusiasts hands. |

Hahaha, Szekely? No, although had to deal with her quite a few times. Lovely (cough) woman (although I 'think' she's still a woman, can't quite tell under all the botox)

Can't wait for next month, get to have a go in a new California. Boss is swapping his SLR for one, never seen one in the flesh (this will be the only one in Southern Spain for a while) so I'll give you the judgment ETA: Not that my car isn't special, it was supposed to be a compromise car and ended up loving it more than I expected. At least mine starts every morning, which is a lot can be said for their cars! |

The front end (forward of the mirrors) looks like a Porsche. The back end (from the rear wheel arch leading edge) looks like a Chrysler. The middle looks like crap. Its wheelbase is too long. The back end looks like a rabid dog with its tail tucked between its legs.

Right I've been told the pictures don't do this justice but it is a very big car, bigger than a Cayenne both width ways and length ways.
They will start at about £50K and go right up over a £100K for a 550bhp model. Can't wait to see one in the flesh, apprantely they have a lot of presence and look great!
