From Order to Delivery, How Long Did It Take?

So, how long did you have to wait for your baby? The dealer told me 6-8 weeks, but exactly how long did you have to wait in the UK?

Do we have a way of tracking it here like in the US?

I first spoke to the dealer (went through a broker first) on the 16th of October. Took deliver on the 26th November.

So that works out at 6 weeks. They did have a build slot already in the system which did shave a couple of weeks of the dates however.

I ordered mine on the 21st July and it was delivered on the 12th Oct.
So approx 16 wks!
It did however break down within two hours of me picking it up,so if you then count the 2 wks it took to fix it, it was more like 18 wks until I got a fully functional car!

The quickest delivery I have had was 4 weeks, when BMW had to replace a vehicle they had supplied in error !

6-8 weeks is possible.

Worst case 2-3 months.

I ordered mine on 11th November, I've been told I should have her on the 18th of December, 5 weeks or so. I'd been told 4-8 weeks and to expect Jan, but once the order was placed my sales chap said it would probably be December as things are quieter this time of year.

Last time it was 1 week! I ordered an E46 and was humming the colour when my salesman said "how do you feel about silver?", I said it was fine, so he said I've got one coming in next week you can have if you want it. So that was that!

11 weeks, though mine took longer as the Individual options are fitted at a separate factory.

Same time for me as I wanted to wait for the new reg (rather thanget a new car late Jan). Horrible wait but the best things in life are worth waiting for!

these last few weeks have the longest ever i think for me

anyway, i ordered my e92 about the 20th of october. The dealer rang me earlier in the week to say it was made and waiting to be transported and it should be ready for collection in 2 weeks (

) ... so im quite pleased with the delivery time really.

Well I ordered mine last friday, 23rd November and he told me it should be ready week 3 in Jan or possibly early Feb.

Obviously I would want it earlier if possible but I guess i'll just have to wait like everyone else.

I am a little concerned at the amount of time some have had to wait, Has anyone else ordered this month and if so what time scale were you given?

Sorry for posting such a boring thread but i'm counting down the days.

I was considering waiting until the 08 plate but i just cant wait.
