Hey Guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before. My lci e90 is currently on 189s with a 225/255 staggered tire setup. I've been looking at the rotary forged 18x8.5 square setup from **********s to try out something lighter. Would I be okay reusing my tires? They're almost brand new so I'd rather not have to get another set. I know the tires will physically fit on the wheels...just don't want to run into any issues later on.

What's the point of running staggered tires on square wheels? Get square tires too.

You'll be fine. Its been done before. 225 will look slightly stretched on the 8.5 and the 255 will look slightly wide.

If you aren't planning on keeping the 189s, consider selling them as a set. If you wanted to keep them for winters or something, then go for it.

Yes this will work, depending on sidewall width of course. I was running 225/45 on 18x8.5 front (nice little stretch) and 255/40 18x8.5 rear. Looks nice. It was my winter set up.

Thanks for the input, guys. Eventually I'll move to a square tire setup, but it's good knowing I can still use the current tires if they don't sell.
