Active Processor Limp Mode
As the title says. After having it on the car for three weeks I get the dreaded Limp Mode Whats interesting is i got the check engine light with half power notification while I was parking the car at work. I wasnt doing any spirited or hard running while driving to work...I was simply parking the car. Car started stumbling really badly at idle. Just like everyone else who has gotten a Limp Mode with any of these piggy backs I shut the car off and waited a few minutes and started her back up and the light was gone. However now when the car is warm/hot when starting up the idle is ruff for about 10sec or so and then she is fine. There is no perceived loss of power while driving. (Still Pulls Freakin Hard) I did the standard re-look at all of the connections and everything is fine. Going to put her back to stock and see what happens.
As a side note...My previous tune on the car was the SSTT. That was on the car for 7 Months without any issues AT ALL Thank goodness I still have it. My car was a Aug 2007 Build so no ECU issues there. Car has 14000miles on it. Current mods on car are listed in my signature block. All bolt on mods were installed when using either of the two tunes. Anyone else using AA Processor please chime in. |

I'm going to leave the AA Proccesser in and have the Dealership scan for codes and go from there.

The codes are already stored in your ECU. You don't need to let the AAP in the car to get to the codes. Just in case you prefer to go to stock before you go to the dealership.

Right, I understand this. And "they" understand this as well. They can scan for codes and trouble shoot with the processor still in correct?

I need to hold my judgement call on saying that the AA Processor gave me the Limp Mode. Untill I get all the facts I will hold my judgement until then.
I apologize to all and AA. |

it might be your vanos, i personally wouldn't leave it in when taking it to the dealer, unless you don't care about your warranty...?
