Carbon fiber

Folks I am looking for a carbon fiber kit to replace the aluminum inside my e90 335xi sedan manual transmission .

Do you recommended full replacement kit or overlay ??

Also, any recommendation where to buy from?

Thanks

Full replacement kits are $$$$ around $1500 from getbmwparts.com

Lots of vendors sell 3M DINOC vinyl wrap which is the best way to go. metrorestyling.com is where are I bought my wrap supplies, but there are others out there so google a bit.

Overlays are not the way to go. They don't look good IMHO and are a PITA to get on straight. Overlays are pretty thick and have a backing of tape/adhesive that holds it to the surface of your existing trim.

I would get a full replacement kit if I was filthy rich, but since im not... I just got my interior trim wrapped with CF. Wrapping your trim should cost no more than $250.

hope that helps.
