Does anyone know of a local body shop around Seattle area that can install lowering springs for. Decent price? Thanks

No it works that way you dont need new shocks or struts. But it would be best to replace so that way you can get struts and shocks that are made for the smaller coil. Theres a few places around here what will do it Midas being one of them Illtech being another.

i just heard the ride quality can alter a bit putting aftermarket springs on stock oem shocks and struts and could possibly wear the life of the shocks/struts at a faster rate. but i say go for it and if the ride is workable, why not save a few bucks and swap out the shocks/struts down the road

I got my coilovers installed for $175, for shocks/struts and springs, I think it will be $150. The install was done by a guy from Lynwood, not a shop though. BTW I highly recommend you get aftermarket shocks/struts if you're going with springs. Aftermarket springs wear out your OEM shocks/struts faster especially if you go on bumps or potholes a lot so you might as well get both done at the same time.

I had Illtech do my eibach pro kit last month. They charged me 'an hour per corner' plus $129 for an alignment. They did a good job but I can't recommend them. It took weeks to get them to order parts, schedule the work, etc. and they started and finished late. Spoke to the owner to try to build a relationship but they're just too busy and understaffed. I removed the license frame they gave me and am now very happy with Strictly BMW.
All told they charged me $650 for labor and alignment. Car sqeaks over speed bumps and they said that it needs more lube Let me know if you want to see before and after pics of the Eibach Pro kit on my E90 MSport suspension
