Sounds great, this added like 20-25 hp by deleting the cats right?

gopro pulled a tuck and roll. that sounds amazing. Seriously. It is the most functional way to go from dyno results I have seen and it sounds amazing. You will find out after you dyno with your different exhaust set ups but stock muffler plus cat deletes might yield the best results. After spending what I have on exhausts I wouldn't go any other way.

It sort of sounds like a louder and slightly less dynamic PE. I might be getting headers for free sometime within the next year and might have to start with stock mufflers to keep the noise down. I can't stand all the other header vids because they are just extremely loud and slow ricers.

Im torn...I originally was going to do an x-pipe just after the headers and a true-x magnaflow muffler 2.25" all the way back, but the more I hear how it sounds currently, the more I'm thinking against this idea. If the dyno doesn't show at least a 15hp gain, I'll do the exhaust.

Its actually quieter than a PE. My cell phone mic must boost the sound somehow. If I deleted the resonator I think it would be as loud as the PE and as dynamic, possibly louder. But that isnt something I want. I've always said I want a quiet exhaust.

Good luck on the headers. They were surprisingly easy to install with 2 people. I was expecting a headache, but it took us 4 hours flat even with the beer breaks.

I got a lot more seat time with the headers on. I have a bit of throttle lag off the line to low/mid RPM. I think it could be as simple as resetting the adaptations. If that doesn't solve it, I'll be sending Zak an email asking for the adjustment on the tune as I have the Simon tool and don't need to go to the shop for changes.

Upper RPM say 4k+ the car pulls much harder than ever. At 5-7k it screams. I'm VERY happy with the headers and can't say enough about them.

I did the 3 stage intake manifold off the 330i and AA stage 2 tune at the same time. I cant really comment on one without the other. To sum up my feelings on these two mods..."Night and day". This should be everyone's number one group of mods for any 325i.

Sounds awesome!!!

Just not the sound of the GoPro taking the fall and tumbling! LOL
Hopefully the damage is contained to just a scratched housing!! Have never mounted mine externally for this very reason, but I reckon when I eventually do, I will tether it to the bodywork somehow, maybe close a tether cable in the boot, door or bonnet etc.

If you'll clean the area you plan on placing it and put a small amount of spit on the suction cup it wont come off. Ive done hundred mile trips hauling it and it didnt come off. I just forgot to clean the bumper and the dirt caused it to fall off.

Well, judging by how sturdy overall the suction cup is, I reckon if properly mounted and the surface is clean and almost glass like, it's not coming off in a hurry - not too worried about replacing a case, but terrified that the camera itself gets damaged from the violence, so probably would still tether if possible just to play safe! Must say, had a bit of a chuckle at the GoPro bouncing about and simply not being at all phased, probably just thinking to itself, "is that all you got..." - but at the same time feeling sad for it and imagining if it was mine. Can you imagine having a DSLR take this punishment?!

If it's quieter than the PE, then there's room to play. Good job not being a ricer! Can't wait to see your dyno.
