Heresy

It's now a month since BMW so generously teased us with the release of some details of the E92. I am now totally p*ssed off having waited about 18 months or more since the new model was first talked about that I cannot even place a firm order for an actual delivery date.

Am I the only one who is getting to the stage of seriously looking at alternatives?

I looked at the new Audi TT and £ for £ it looks pretty competitive with the 335i performance wise. The looks aren't bad either - it has more curves than the old TT which looked a bit like a grown up Beetle.

Anyone else thinking the same?

Yes it's driving me crazy! Also, I can't wait to see/hear/touch the 335i sedan, whenever it finally arrives on our shores. I'm also eager to see the Z4 coupe in person and give a test drive. I've fallen in love with the curves on that thing!

no.

the 335 will be a superbly refined machine. just be patient and wait for the best.

once the 335 arrives, then compare car for car, not words for words.

why must you wait 18 months or more. that is not right, is it?

all the best.

I think about other cars all the time but I know all I really care about is the 335i.

Kinda like life with women?

Try a google search (or wreckedexotics) for smashed TTs. You'll want to stick with bimmers after that viewing.

For all the hoopla surrounding the E92, it will not drive dramatically different from an E90. Sure the power gains are nice and the two door configuration looks good, but underneath, the chassis is not much different and the car will weigh about the same. So just sit back and enjoy your e46 a little longer. 18 months is not unusually long, it takes many automakers longer to go from a show concept to production. Be glad you aren't one of those people that have been waiting for the Nissan GT-R.

The Shooting Brake TT will be a good looking car, but if you're going there, you need to consider the Z4 Coupe.

That is the price you pay for lusting for another car. Do something else to keep your mind busy and the time will pass quicker. Stop visiting the forum would probably help since they plaster pics all the time! Good luck on the wait.

Honestly, the new G35 looks nicer than the old one and I have a little interest in it. I'll take her for a test spin this autumn to see how it drives. The interior looks massively improved.
