Let me know how it goes because as I now think about it, I didn't get the red envelope, either. I did get the 3 stickers/plaques...and a receipt. I may call the dealer tomorrow and ask them to look in their system and make sure it's noted under my VIN.
I definitely can feel the difference, so not too worried, but always nice to have backup if I go sell the car. The dyno doesn't hurt either...torque jumped from 308 to 333 at the wheels, you feel it.

I can confirm that you do indeed get a red envelope after installation.

Doing the PPK 1 next Tuesday. Can't wait. And of course, I will
report back with a review also.

In my opinion, unless you're gonna hardcore track it, it's not worth it. The car already has oil cooler, so no need for additional without significant pushing. Don't waste money on it. Get the exhaust instead!

Definitely add some more reviews for this package. I had a hard time finding a decent review for this when I was searching, so that's why I wrote one myself, lol. I hope you guys get those envelopes of yours, too. It's a good bragging right. Ha.

That's what I was thinking. I have the M-Sport as well and didn't think the extra hardware was worth it. The shopbmwusa.com site shows the PPK1 listed for $1056 w/installation. Did you buy the PPK after you purchased your car? How did you negotiate a lower price?

Agreed. No need for PPK-2 unless your gonna track it. Plus, you lose your fog lights, if that matters to you.

You may have to call around and negotiate a little. I got lucky and priced on my dealer's website, which had a pricing mistake, so they honored it at $704 installed. Good Luck.

You'd be much better off with calling the dealer himself. The tune runs for $750, plus an hour of labor to install, depending on the dealer's charge. If they go anywhere above that price, forget them and find a different dealer.

Exactly. I'd rather keep the fogs either way, lol.

My car did not come with an oil cooler (non-sport 2011 335i), so in my opinion, since the installed an oil cooler for me, it was well worth it.

Correct! It comes with water cooler and a bigger intercooler, as well as a couple of other small tweaks.

In your case, yes. I was referring to cars that come with oil cooler prior to the software. Since you didn't have one, due to no M-sport, then I agree that it's worth it. But did they really add an oil cooler to you as well, or just the water cooler?
