Here's a quick phone photo of mine

I would have preferred to have mine dipped but I was eager to give wrapping a try.

Any idea what a full trim dip costs?

There's a member who can carbon dip your trim. I think his username is shades and his website is shadyscarbon . I'd guess about £200-£300 but iI have no idea.

I've added a couple of photos to my last post comparing carbon wrap to my genuine carbon trim.

I think if rather spend a bit more and get the real thing, it's the only way if you want it to look real!

Agreed, but then again, woodchip wallpaper would look better than that minging aluminium.

A full set of genuine is about £1800 from BMW so way overpriced imo. You can get carbon leather trim from an M3 which looks great and pop up on ebay every now and then for about £350. The leather carbon trim doesn't include the centre trim as that's different in the M3.

Back to the drawing board for me
I didn't like the gloss black wap, it looked like...... a wrap!!

I feel it would 'cheapen' my interior so I'll stick with my Brushed Silver, albeit scratched, for the time being but i know the want won't go away

I'd go carbon leather if I was going to change my trim again.

Is there any way to "polish" scratches out of brushed aluminium?

Soooo the trim that isn't fitted is the 3m vinyl wrap? Because I prefer that one how the photo shows it.
