Performance exhaust not leveled?
anybody else have this problem the exhaust tip on the passenger side is facing down more than the drivers side(pic below). I noticed it after I had it installed at a new mechanic shop 100$, wondering if I can diy fix this or have the mechanic check it but he might mess it up more

I have the same problem, passenger side as well. I installed the exhaust myself and noticed it later. Tried to fix it but it was cold out so I gave up. Interested to see if anyone else has had this/fixed it.

I had this problem with my AE quad exhaust that I had installed last week, The right side was actually sitting really high and the left side was sitting way too low. I used some hose clamps to adjust it temporarily until I can get it back to the shop and see if they have anyway to adjust the tips permanently. If they don't have any advice I might just leave it as is because the tips are to my liking and the hose clamps aren't noticeable unless you get under the car.

I ended up heating up the pipe just behind the tip to a nice orange and bending it slightly to get it to match the right side.

I do not know of a permanent fix yet, my problem seemed to come from the exhaust hangars, I believe one was more stretched out than the other. The side that was really high I used a hose clamp to squeeze the exhaust hangar to get the exhaust to lower slightly (about half an inch) and on the side that was too low I used the hose clamps to raise the exhaust probably over an inch.

I have the OEM performance exhaust on my e92 335 and the passenger side has always hung lower than the driver's side. I've never heard of it ever actually hanging evenly without custom bending or screwing around with the hangers, so I just gave up and accepted it. It's just a slight design flaw. But that sound...I tend to forget about it once I'm on the gas.
