yeah you could get a brand new set for like $250 or so. I had B&G and H&R Race springs and I love the ride. The Race springs will eat up the struts faster then the B&G and H&R Sport but still good.. Eibach is also good, nice mild drop. Also you can do front spring perches. Just a few options available.

They may, but I mean they're just brakes. I'm not picky about them (or ride height, as you can probably tell) lol. I could probably dress it up a little with slotted rotors and painted calipers if it needed it. I would definitely consider 18s in CSL style or something but I'm so drawn to the CV3s; I feel like anything else would bore me. Ride quality isn't too much of a concern, I only drive ~4k a year and the roads here are great.

I'll definitely be posting pics. I think I'll buy the rims as a christmas present to myself. My Dad wants to buy the tires. I'll probably get some LED angel eyes and black kidneys from modmy3 at the same time, too. Bye bye half of my summer earnings lol. |

christ I can't stand some people on this forum. Just because they are dropped they have nothing better to do than put OP's on blast for not dropping their car.
I'm on OEM sport suspension and have zero plans to change my ride height to improve the look of my car. For one it severely limits how you can maneuver around certain areas and I don't want to scrape my nice car all across the city, or drive like a grandma and paranoid of scraping by using the right "technique." That being said, I would do 19" in the darker finish. But I've never really been much of a van of the vossen cv3's |

In the long run springs would be the more expensive. Sooner or later the shocks won't hold the springs and all together you'll need new shocks and springs. So just get a set of coilovers and you're set, can't take the cheap way out on a project that big.

seconds option. wheels suit the car well. as stated above, get springs for a cheaper deal and the rims. the drop will be a tremendous enhancement to pull of the rims and how they look.
it is winter time so save up $ and buy springs and wheels in 3 months and you'll be good

if you don't want to drop the car, just "upgrade" the wheels to other 18" oem wheels like 197 or 189. like someone said, any aftermarket wheel (in any size) just looks funny/weird when the car is on stock suspension.
