I got my OEM BMW PS Blind Spot mirror glass on eBay here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-BMW-1-3-...0873f7&vxp=mtr

Their part compatibility chart is not exact, as it did not list as being compatible with my 09' E92 2/2009 build - but I knew it was before buying regardless.

Mirror is used, but looked as if new, no scratches, etc. and heating function works fine...

You'll like the functionality of the Euro mirror - really does make a difference. Makes me wonder why U.S. doesn't incorporate these instead of the 'Objects in Mirror Appear' versions

Check out the very good comparison video of std vs blind spot mirrors on the ECSTuning Site:

http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-328...rors/ES514270/

I use only PS mirror on my car...

What a great idea. How much work is it to change out the glass? Is it a reasonable DIY or did you take them to a shop?

Simple DIY - just get your fingers behind the glass on one end, & gently pop it off. You'll then see how it attaches to the mirror motor only in the center with a group of clips in a circle (see mirror backside pics in link I provided).

Then just push the new glass on till the clips engage

Has anyone found a good supplier for this mirror for 2009 328XI? there's a British seller on eBay called Worldcarmirrors. anyone bought from them? ECS has them, but way too much money.

You need to read post #2 - that's where I got one for my 09 328ix

They are used, but look as if new (no scratches) and cheap

I just bought some mirrors from the same seller, got here in a week! Aspherical, blue tint, heated. Waaay cheaper than what ECS wanted also.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/110931846177...ht_8193wt_1026

As 1QuikWS6 noted, part number wasn't listed but it fit my '09 e92 335i, no issues. Simple pop in and pop out procedure, no tools required.

Just ordered these side mirrors. I'll update and see how they are. I hope they don't have scratches on the glass itself.

Do you still have the auto dimming feature with those mirrors?

ok, in a way, that may be true but my old E46 had both side mirrors with a bluesh hue (not auto diming) that help reducing glare way more than my E90.

Now, I have to set the mirrors way out of site in order to prevent being blinded. not easy to do quik manuvers as you have to sway your body side to side on spirited driving.

Eventually, ill be getting the whole auto-diming and folding upgrade, but it wont be cheap. (safety first)

Lou.

No, the one's I referenced are the blue tinted. I don't have auto dim side mirrors so that was OK by me. They are heated though

I have auto dim rear view mirror only due to a retrofit...
