Up for sale is a used/previously installed Escort Passport 9500ci. This is the remote installed and concealed detector, NOT a windshield mount. It requires quite a bit of work to install, but once done it's capabilities are unmatched. I won't go over the details - if you're familiar with radar detectors you know what it can do. Laser Jamming, unreal radar detection, GPS filtering...

All original components, manuals, and box are included, and was originally purchased in September 2010. It is in perfect working condition (see photo), and has performed admirably. I sent it in for recalibration and tuning (necessary for optimum performance) in January 2013. The database red light camera/speed camera subscription is expired but you can buy a new subscription from Escort.

This detector has been installed in two cars so I have very little installation hardware left. No problem-o - if you choose to do your own install Escort sells installation hardware kits on their website. If you choose to have it professionally installed they'll take care of all the hardware for you. I installed it myself - learned a lot and had a good time doing so.

Also, I've made a few 'mods' to make it better. I removed the blatant "Passport Radar/Laser" from the displays using some rubbing alcohol. I also clipped the concealed alert LED so it only flashes red - the constant green light was too bright and distrating. I also lengthened it by splicing some additional wire length in. All connections are soldered and heat-shrink tubing protected. The only issue with the whole setup is the control module plastic cover fell off when I was removing it from the car. I've snapped it back together, backed up with a dot of crazy glue. If you aren't happy with that you can buy a separate control module from Escort for pretty cheap. You won't need to, trust me.

This is a genuine, factory authorized model. Beware of some scammers who sell grey market models or models without the ZR4 jammers included. Mine is the complete package.

Current retail from Escort is $1699. This is a STEAL at less than half off, $700. Paypal only please and I will ship immediately.

How reliable is this? I currently have a Valentine1 and it has been treating me fairly well for now but a radar jammer would be nice. I'm just worried about how in depth the install is... PM me

Nice. I have an STi-R Plus still, getting rid of the two LI systems I have since (knock wood) laser isn't used much where I live now.

I only had them installed for a short period and no, never did. Knock wood but laser is rarely used where I live.
