Dave. Had a lot of fun this weekend also. Thanks for the shade. You had got the track down pretty quickly. I'll need weight reduction, race gas, and more skill to keep up with you. Enjoy NJMP.

Thinking VIR possibly with PCA Zone 2 in March.

Guys, I might join these guys at the M3P. They're spending the weekend at NC to drive all weekend at the Tail of the Dragon. Not sure how I feel about the 12hr drive each way though.

Got the Z rebalanced and aligned today. Apparently the toe in front was really out of whack which would explain why my R-S3's wore out so badly. Also hopefully this means the Star Specs will last me more than a season.

I'm really getting close to putting in a half cage / rollbar this off-season, ugh decisions decisions...

Do safety items. Well worth it if you can walk away if something were to happen.

I was at VIR this past March for my license. We had snow flurries at the track and there was a TON of snow on the way down! So glad I drove my beater Golf instead of my 330 with PSS's on. I wouldn't have made it.

Haha Rob. The guys I would go with have trailers. I may have access to tow vehicle and would rent a trailer for a week. But time will tell. Hope you get to test and tune.

Just received the NASA NE 2014 schedule and saw Thompson Speedway, didn't realize they were building a road course. Looks promising and only 3 hours from NYC.

Palmer Motorsports Park also under construction. They had ground breaking 11/22. The webist is under contruction but another 2.3 mile course and I think 4 hairpin turns are featured.

GoPro 3 seems pretty awesome. Your wind noises are much more crisp and real-life-like.

NASA NE, or any NASA chapter for that matter is great. Only problem is the NASA NE events are so damn expensive, nearly 2x the price of PCA. Not to mention depending on the event, you may have to wait a long time in between sessions (TT and Race). The only NASA NE event I've done in the past year is Lime Rock because their rates are about the same as any other organization (Lime Rock is typically $300-325/day). Prior to that I did NJMP and WGI with them, events were fun but like I said, it really limits your budget for other track days.

If you want to try some tracks further south, I highly suggest NASA Mid-atlantic. A lot of NE instructors also head down for MA events. The pricing is far cheaper than NE (although you make up for it in gas for a further event but you'd pay that regardless). MA guys are really fast and Summit Main and VIR are great tracks.

4.July 25-27 (Fri/Sat/Sun) - Watkins Glen
5.Aug 19 (Tue) - NJMP T-bolt
6.Sept 12-14 (Fri/Sat/Sun) - Pocono South/East
7.Oct 17-19 (Fri/Sat/Sun) - Summit Main


Things to note:
•Jefferson has added a new section of track and is now over 2 miles long
•Friday May 16, instructor training and advanced day only
•June 11-12 event is followed by NNJR on T-bolt on June 13-14 Fri/Sat
•Current conflict on Sat Sept 13 but trying for S/E all 3 days
•RTR reserves the right to change dates/venues at RTR's sole discretion
