Price of the pinout as stated is $579. The reality is that you get a microprocessor based unit for a price that many thought would never happen on this car. BMS has built their reputation on pricing, great service, and problem free operation. Those three things are a great recipe for success.

Thanks guys for the kind words on the review.

Mr.5, I never ever want to get into that mess. My only point is for people to specifically understand what they get with the JB3. I have experience with big single turbo setups, large injector setups, additional injectors on the manifold, pump upgrades, piggy back, black box piggy back, and expensive standalone ecus, etc. I have tried more setups on many cars than my account would like to admit. I have learned my lesson over the years and know what I am looking for. I felt BMS was on the right path when I spoke to Terry on JB3 and it appears I was right. I am very pleased right now with my car.

Great review and I couldn't agree more. Early next week I should have video of my car pulling on both an SL600 V12 TT and E60 M5.
Thanks JB3 (race map)

I think in all stock 135i the whp went from 285 to 364whp. Huge gains for just software.

The tenative release date is the end of this month. Terry said the date will be finalized very soon, but realistically you are within two weeks of being able to own this.

JB3 is the top of the JB line. The JBX is not microprocessor based, but still very reliable. It will not produce as much power as the JB3 and won't have a lot of the features I listed in this post.

The gains look to be a realistic 70-80 rwhp from the software alone. When you think about that for a second you are getting around 14 rwhp per $100 for the pin out JB3. That is unbelievable when you think about the cost of mods on this car!

Anytime. Rix is probably the man to order since he is basically like ordering from BMS therefore you would have the fastest turn around.
