It's snowing in North York now. So I totally called it by changing them last weekend.

I did about the same, with some corrections on Saturday as the spokes were not that easy to fully cover.... Love the black look, will get them refinished in the spring to glossy black..

Switched Friday. Not much snow yet in SW Ontario but the summers were already starting to give up in the cold temps and I didn't want to get caught out.

Your winters look great! Did you get an alignment done after putting your winters on? Or are you sitting on your stock springs and just simply swapped? I'll be swapping soon. M3 reps 17's and I too wish I had 18's instead.

i just got an alignment last weekend before putting the winters on because the rear of my car was kicking out on bumps on the highway (turns out it was because of cold hard balding rear tires and too stiff of a setting on rear suspension)... but i just threw the winters on after. debating if i should raise up the car a tiny bit for winter... if i do then i will have to get an alignment done again

i usually spray the underbody with some rustproof oil, i doubt it does much, but i guess it doesn't hurt to do it before winter's salt

for my older cars with no more warranty, i lithium grease the hinges.

Swapped rims yesterday.

Boneheads at the repair shop probably didn't use a torque wrench when replacing my rim.

Then found my vehicle was missing one locking bolt and jack pad.

Good news is that the ride is a little softer on winter shoes.

Man those winters have some grip.......ice+momentum surely not an issue compared with defying gravity!

Most of us Westerners swapped a week or two back.

Why is everyone in a rush when the T.O. forecast is looking like this?

because its only "warm" this weekend then you'll be seeing temps like earlier this week.. plus i think many of us had summer tires which were on their last season.. i know my rear ones were unsafe to drive on
