Just got married to BMW financial service...
First time on board! Greetings to my fellow BMW owners!
I just signed the paper yesterday and "married" to BMW financial service. 2009 328xi, Jet black, black letterette, AT, USB, Heated steering wheel, no other upgrades (MSRP $44775) Leasing for 36 mth, 24000km/year, 3.9%, $0 down Monthly payment $600 tax incl. My first BMW ever! Excited and nervous at the same time. Do you guys still remember your first bimmer experience? Care to share your thoughts on my "marriage deal"? My first bimmer experience only happend a month ago, so I'm pretty sure I remember it :P
I'm thinking you could have probably got less on the $600/month tax in. A friend and I went in at the same time to get our cars, he got an 09 328xi for his fiance, I got an 09 335i. If you want I can ask my buddy what he ended up paying. As for mine, its a 2009 335i with the following options Navigation Package Executive Package Audiophile Package M-Sport Package $24,000km/year 2.5% $710/month tax in including tire warranty |

automatic transmission? I picked up a 09 e90 335 with the same package as yours, except for the Executive package, but i have the automatic, and with 0 down payment, my monthly is $770. tax in. my brother in law also picked up a 90 e90 328 last month with just the premium package, and automatic...his payment was $580 tax in with 0 down. |

i had a down payment of about $3500 so just as a rough estimate I'm guessing with zero down it would be about the same as yours. Mine is an automatic transmission as well. |

Do tell, as I am in the process of securing a deal for a 335d myself... and the figures pretty much look like yours, blum - but I have less options & no downpayment (except the deposit & first payment & all that jazz)

I actually used carcostcanada.com when I purchased mine. Best $40 I've spent. It saved me all the hassle of negotiating and I was able to get straight to the point and start from wholesale cost. What I did was went to one bmw store, showed them the report on the specs i wanted and the sales guy had one on the lot. Only thing is the car they had didn't have the audiophiles package. So i took that quote, went to the rest of them and the price just kept getting lower and lower until i pulled the trigger on it. If you're looking for a wholesale report on your car, PM me your email address with the exact specs and I'll see if I can get one to you. |

My first bimmer was a 00 328i that I bought 10 yr ago. It was replacing my Volvo S70 T5 which I can't believe that I can live with that POS tank for 2 yr! I dun have too good memory with my old bimmer. But I have good memory on the first bimmer that I drove in 20yr ago. It was my friend's E30 325i. It drove like a go kart and handle like a dream, I hate my camry after driving that E30! But this E30 also made me aware of BMW build quality! One day when I was driving it again... when I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd.... the whole shift linkage was broken into piece! The whole shift knob and shift level was totally away from the shift gate... glab that it was still under warranty otherwise I dunno how a poor collage student able to pay the repair bill!

I think that depends on your existing monthly payment...
Ex. 5 x 800 (monthly payment) = 4000 Taking 4000 off your new car would have probably given you 670 a month, which would be pretty good. I am in the same boat, tried to score a deal while trying to move my existing car. Unfortunately, dealers are not very flexible in these situations. Some-one has to pay BMW financial the remainder of the payments and that makes the sweet deal on your new car not so sweet. Quote:

I got a 328i sedan 2009:
Options: metallic paint (black) premium package (saddle brown) navigation ipod heated steering rain sensor (not sure if it's an option) audiophile package Executive package Cold weather ( dont know if it comes with the heated steering) 2.3% 5k down 550 per month tax in with the brakes warranty edit: it's a 4 year lease, with low mileage Pretty happy with the deal. Of course you can ALWAYS get better, there's always someone who will have better, but hey... that's how life is! LOL edited, thanks to kiyi! (please excuse my noobness) LOOL Last edited by vince88; 09-20-2009 at 11:19 PM.. |

vince88, you got the comfort access and alarm without the executive package? or did you mean to list it out instead? As far as I know, the comfort access is only available as a separate option in the U.S. and presumably europe
