Upgrade time
Well after a few months of thinking, the time has come to do some tuning & major upgrades to my lil 335.
Talking with Randy from Eurocharged, using his input to switch out a few parts that I was planing on getting, to get the best out of the N54, i opted to go with a Stage 2 Eurocharged tune, as well as FBO. It's gonna be run on the dyno as is, then again after everything is completed, which should post some good numbers. Here is all thats being done, so far LOL (things change as we all know) Stage 2 tune (with new plugs & coils) BMS OOC Mishimoto FMIC ER Charge pipe (black) HKS SSQV BOV Catless downpipe EC catback system (black 4" tips) H&R lowering springs Stoptech brake kit, with stainless lines. Gonna take a few weeks to get all the parts in, then the fun starts, will post updates as this project goes on. There are still things that need to be done, just not at this point which is why I didnt list and mention everything. |

OK update time;
All work has been done and the car is F'ing great, no final numbers yet, but coming soon. First dyno run - Dinan S2 tune and nothing more, posted 316 AWHP. Went and had the Dinan taken off and had F.B.O installed, dyno posted 298 AWHP. In a few weeks gonna have the final dyno run done with F.B.O & S2 Eurocharged tune done. The car handles amazing with the braking power to back up the speed. Sleeper, looking for you all on the black top lmfao

just a piece of constructive criticism...
-would/did look better without the side ER sticker -would look better with the exhaust tips tucked additionaly about 1/2" to 3/4", maybe even a full 1" |

The tips are gonna be shortened 1' to line up with bumper, as for ER stickers, my god son put them on, so i gotta leave them for a while, but they will come off. lol

Agree about the exhaust tips. Is it too long because the exhaust was designed for a coupe?
Which H&R springs did you get? The ones spec'd for the xi or for the i? How harsh are they? I had H&R/Billy on my old E36 and it was pretty hash. Currently running just Koni yellows with OEM 'i' springs on my xi, but it just doesn't seem to handle all that great. I'll re-evaluate whether I need lowering springs after I do the M3 rear end upgrade. BTW, what the heck is FBO. I see it everywhere these days and, AFAIK, it's an intake/exhaust upgrade but I can't figure out what the heck the letters stand for??? |

I got the H&R for the XI, the ride is great, not hard at all, drove to the GF's place about 100 km away at 140'ish and smooth, in the city, handles likes its on rails, body roll in
mostly gone. FBO stands for "FULL BOLT ON" meaning that every both on part has been changed for more performance. AFAIK means "As Far As I Know

Ok I just got back from Eurocharged after the final dyno run, and the numbers are great,.
First run with just Dinan Stage 2 posted 316.74 AWHP & 352.78 LBs Second run with F.B.O only posted 298.79 AWHP & 305.74 LBS Final run with everything listed posted 396.70 AWHP & 403.39 LBs For those that want the crank/motor numbers here they are as well. 512 hp @ the motor and 524 lbs Torque. The loss of power for being AWD, will kinda balance out on the track & off the line with the added grip. If it was not AWD we figured the numbers to be approx - 430-440 AWHP, still both numbers are great for a little sedan sleeper. I could not be happier with the numbers, big thanks to the guys at Eurocharged.
