I didnt want to even attempt to take that support housing off. I just used a dremel and ground little indentations for the hex key to fit properly. In the end, the boot sealed over the indentations so theres no concern of water getting into the cabin. I did the CDV delete about two weeks ago and think it was a good idea. The clutch release is a lot less jerky than before, especially when the A/C is on. I have an ABS light on now though which I'm assuming is because I got some air in the system. Got the self bleeder from bavauto.com on the way. I dont think you can successfully bleed the slave cylinder without a pressurized bleeder because of the lack of clearance to get a wrench in there.
