Russel BMW best service guy?

I made this post in the m3 regional section but thought I might get additional feedback here.

My new to me 2011 just called for an oil change. I'm very close to Russel so I
should at least give them a try. Northwest is about 20 minutes away. I will ask for wipers.

Is there someone I should ask for?

Should I expect a loaner for just oil service?

Should I expect the car to be washed?

I won't have many other opportunities to be at the dealer for service since my car is not a daily. Is there anything else I should ask for while it's there?

Other tips, advice?

Thanks,

MarkW

I can't speak to who to ask for, but I'd ask for new wipers (I get them once a year free).

I always get a loaner even if it's just an oil change

Car by default will get washed anytime you take it in - you can request they not wash it of course.

Unless anything else is wrong, you shouldn't need anything.

I live 10 mins away from Russel and I only go to Tischer, 30 mins away. Trust me, you don't want to take your car there. They're horrible and rude. Check out what others have said.

Is your car under warranty?

If so you can expect a loaner, wash and whatever else is covered.

Yup! Go to BMW of Silver Spring. But if you really want to try Russel, look for Neil Taylor. He'll take good care of you. If you want something specifically done (Car wash, Vacuum, Etc.) you have to request it. BTW, Russel's pricing on anything isn't competitive. Good luck.

My car is under warranty. So Russel sucks. Who should I ask for at BMW of Silver Spring?

Thanks!

There are several good SAs there like Kristina Williams & Kevin Hull. My tech is Dan Hong.

I have an appointment with Kevin Hull. I briefly reconsidered Russel but then checked their ratings on dealerrater.

Thanks all.

Russel service

Heard a rumor from a reliable source that Mile One has purchased the Russel Automotive Group. Apparently Russel dealerships will be operating with the current staff for the next year. After that maybe things will improve at the BMW dealership?
