Wanted: Alpine upgrade, amp only

Hi all,

I have an 320d and im looking for just the alpine amp and the wiring. Alredy have the mids and tweeters installed. Seems I cant buy just the amp on its own from BMW. Thanks for looking

I have the amp only but no wiring or speakers if thats any use to you.

Oh and you can buy the amp on its own from a BMW dealer I think its about £230 + VAT

Oh right, didn't think bmw would sell it on its own as it comes as a set. So I need harness too. What is that exactly? So if I ring bmw ive basically got to ask for the amp, wiring and harness.That right? Thanks again

I am not sure why you bough mids and tweeters separately.
If Amp only is 230 + 46 (VAT) = £276

Then complete kit is far better for £350. so if work out you get 2 mids and 2 tweeters for approx £75 which is fair price.

I have seen people selling just tweeters on this forum for £50.

Te amp alone is 230 plus VAT the full kit is quite a bit more

I only bought the car yesterday so it was the previous owner who had just the mids and tweeters fitted, may have brought them second hand or something, i dont know.

tiw30 - How much would you want for the amp only and what else is it exactly that i would have to purchase and will bmw sell me the bits on their own?

I have a vibe litebox s4 amp I never got round to fitting if you would be interested. That way you wouldnt need the wiring harness as it takes a feed directly from the speakers!!
