Lowering a 325xi Summer and Winter Setup. Help Needed

What should I purchase to lower my BMW 325xi. I have an alpine white, with steptronic. I have added a spoiler, Blacklines, and Exhaust Tip. I plan to Get 20" Wheels and Tires soon which I am saving up for Hopefully Spring Next year. However, I Live in NJ and plan to use stock tires / wheels in the winter. Should i Wait till i get the 20" and lower it? Will it affect the fact that i'll be putting stock 16"s back on ? Will there be a very big gap ?
Any help is appreciated.

At the end of the day, the overall tire size is going to be the same. The 20" tires will have almost no sidewall compared to the 16" ones.

The 20 inch set up is almost the same overall diameter of your 16 inch set up but it's still taller and you can tell. I would first do the wheels and then lower it. This way if you run into any problems you can just roll your fenders. I have many 20 inch style wheels in stock let me know if you need some help.
