330d hesitation
2006 330d had dpf light, check engine light and low down hesitation on acceleration.
Local indy changed maf sensor Still hesitation and dpf light with occasional check engine light Had 3 dpf regens by indy Changed thermostats myself as coolant temp low Still hesitation, dpf, check engine and hesitationn Changed map sensor, still same Cleaned egr valve, still same Back to indy removed inlet manifold, cleaned, changed all glow plugs, rechecked maf, removed and soaked, cleaned dpf overnight, refitted. Dpf light gone, still hesitates but less so, and still occasional check engine Light usually at idle. Car has evolve switch remap over 2 yrs ago Aand run like a dream till recent. Switch unit reports error code p3ff0 but unsure what this refes to Any ideas out there, next step is back to indy, but they may suggest 1500 quid new dpf. Not sure if this is the problem. Have done some long runs recently and no dpf lights. Resetting general check engine light using switch device and always same p3ff0 code. Any ideas, comments,,similar expeiences Graham |

A quick google suggests everyone with that code had had it with a certain switch unit.
Are you reading the codes yourself on the unit and instructing your Indy with what to replace? If so I'd scrap that idea and find an Indy with autologic so you can see what the proper issue is. If I was to pick a fault out of my arse have you looked at injectors? |

Indy has diagnostic gear they say, and only specialise in bmw but have not obviously found root cause as yet, though there has been multiple issues i thnk
Just wondered about the p3ff0 code as this has been there before woth other codes prior to clean of dpf and change of glowplugs Think it may be back to indy in next week or two |
