BMW 320i (2008) 170HP to 220HP+...how?
Hi fellow BMW lovers,
I've a european (dutch) BMW 320i HE model, recently bought 2008 june model. Reason I didn't buy a 325i or better is because I didn't want to drag attention from other fellow consultants or clients. Now, I want to modify my car into something way quicker. 170Hp it just isn't enough to carry along that heavy load of weight of the car. What can I do? I heard, not read, something about an intercooler, turbo, exhaust and chiptuning. All these combined could add about 70HP and a huge increase in TQ. What do you guys think? Cheers. |

Why didnt you just buy a 325i or 335i but opt for the badge removing?
That way, unless they know which model has which exhaust pipes then they wouldnt know. I personally would never 'downgrade' my car becasue I was concerned about what others would think. Also. I dont think that increase is remotely possible.....someone correct me if im wrong.

In the other hand... that kinda increase is possible... but you'd end paying a lot of money... instead if you would opt for the 325i or 330i, you wouldn't have too... |

I had been drive 320i but now I've already swap to the 330.
It's totally fun, I love to drive my car ev everyday... Anyway, I had done may MOD for my old 320 but the only things that I can get is LOOK and SOUND... Intake, Exhaust, Chip, etc... = Waste of money (ALL BULLSHIT)

Thanks guys for your response.
The fuel prices in, especially holland, are very high. We pay around EUR 1.60 for a liter, you could compare that with about 9,5 USD per gallon. So opting for a 330i isn't always that easy... I think I'll just drive this car for a bit and then sell it for a 325D Cheers guys. |
