Crack in LCI taillight

Hey Guys, I'm in Ohio and was moving the snow blower in the garage today, handle hit the rear taillight and put a small crack in it about the size of a quarter, similar to window impact cracks. Does anyone have any experience in repairing these with any sort of silicone or other type of injection material? I'd like to be able to repair this but if not I guess I can just replace both taillights with this kit from ECS.

I replaced one of mine 3 months ago. I found TYC on amazon for $63 shipped. Perfect fit.
