TPM Monitor

I DONT have idrive....the TPM keeps going off and the only way i know how to reset it is through the dealership. is there anyway i can do it so that i dont have to keep driving a half and our to get a little symbol to turn off?

Go to Autozone and grab a portable tire pressure gauge.
When TPM goes off, check pressure on each tire and re-fill the ones that are low.
Then the error symbol will be turned off.
I have an iDrive on mine so it tells me which tire is low but since my gf's Audi doesn't have a Navi, I do what I listed above.

thanks ill try it and get back to you...im hopin it works. the people at the dealership are seriously the missing link in the darwin theory.

half hour and it goes off?? mine has been on for a year now and has never turned off, because i dont have tpms anymore. but why do yours go off after a half hour??

Hi,
You can reset initialize the system through the instrument cluster (driver information). First set / check your tire pressure. Once you know they are right use the procedure listed here.
