Preventative Tips
Has anyone had the problem of the "Start/Stop" on the Engine button rubbing off over time? Is there something that can be done/used to prevent it from doing so?

I haven't seen any E9x's with wear on the Start/Stop button. Problem areas are window controls, steering wheel buttons, and shifter - though the later E9x cars seem to exhibit less wear in these spots compared to the very early builds.
All you can do is clean the area regularly, removing oils from the surface. You can use something like 303 Aerospace, but don't use it on the steering wheel itself or shifter (since you don't want these to be slippery when you're driving). I just use a clean MF damp with water to clean my steering wheel, shifter, and pedals. 303 for everything else.
