Active Autowerke n52 Exhaust Review
So far, this is exhaust has been on my car for two weeks. The exhaust is definitely best bang for the buck, since it provides a really good sound and Andrew at AA has confirmed that there is a power gain from stock. Also, the exhaust is 18lbs lighter than stock. I also want to point out that this exhaust does increase mpg, so all the other owners out there see if it's the same for you, 23.7mpg --->> 25.4mpg. Not to mention that I have been flooring it at lights and in the deck to hear the exhaust , so it probably gives even more than that. The only down fall is the drone around 2-2.5k rpm. Other than that, this is probably the best option if you don't want to drop 1k on the exhaust.
Overall: Pros Medium Loud Exhaust More Power Better Mpg 18lbs Lighter Cons Drone around 2-2.5k rpm Here's a quick comparison from stock: Launch/Drive By/Pop Sound when coming to a stop |

Sounds good. If I didn't already have the PE I would jump on this like Mila Kunis.

Don't do it! That AA sounds 'muted' after a PE in my view. And who would knowingly change from a no-drone to a drone exhaust?

I kno it sounds kinda weird but hearing it in person will give me a better idea of the sound... i always thought the PE sounded like crap cause all these youtube videos dnt do justice until you hear it in person... and then i just bought it and it still has me smiling on startups. esp cold starts. if i end up keeping it i may just delete my secondary cats at the end of the month. gotta pass inspection this month first lol

did you leave the rest of the exhaust completely stock (kept the resonator section) and only replaced the muffler?
You didn't delete the resonator, right? |

I've only listened from inside the car, but aside from the rpm range mentioned it doesn't sound loud. You definitely know it's there, but above 2.5k rpm you're certainly not going to have your passengers complaining or the police pulling you over for a noise violation.
