SCAM WARNING - I have been scammed by someone on this site.(He's from Australia).
Once he realised something I sold him was posted without a tracking number, and not even waiting until the expected delivery date, he lodges a non-receipt of goods complaint with paypal, and paypal refund his money!! I think this person might have quite a little racket going.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has been through this experience. Perhpas if we all contact paypal about him, we might get our money back.
If you want to know who he is, send me a PM and I will let you know who he is.
BE WARNED - if you try and save money on postage it is not worth it - ALWAYS get a tracking no. I do not believe this is the first time he has done this. I don't want other people to go through what I have just been through.
There are a couple of old sayings - WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND, and GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.

I'll send it by PM for now, but let me know if it is the same guy. If I get more than three responses against him, I will make it public and also refer correspondence to paypal.

This. But having said that, polite thing to do is contact the seller first, doesn't sound like this guy did that.

Well, it does go both ways man

Do you have proof that you posted it to his address? Probably not.

I owned a successful online business that posted nearly 100 items per day and every now and again, things would go missing.

We never shipped anything worth more than $100 by a method that couldn't be proven or traced as consumer's have rights should they not receive, or claim not to receive goods.

Can we ask what the item was?

I sold the item for $160. He raised his complaint with paypal the day I told him there was no tracking no. which was the day before it was due to be delivered

Billy the Kid / Shanon - lets establish the facts first.

1. I have never received the item that you claim you sent me.

2. You have defamed me in a public forum, which is against the law.

3. There is credible evidence that you are inciting violence with absolutely no proof but your own opinion.

Points 2 and 3 - all written evidence is now printed and I will be seeking legal advice on Monday. Point 3 - I am now considering refering this matter to police.

I have dealt with several members on this forum both as a buyer and seller with absolutely no issues. I have an Ebay account with over 600 positive feedbacks. The reason why the PayPal claim was lodged is that the item was not received within the promised timeframe and I have been scammed by sellers on Ebay before. Before making the claim I contacted Australia Post depot that services my suburb and they had no record of any item from Perth addressed to me.

I take great pride in my integrity and in fact try and assist people from getting scammed.

YOU ARE MAKING VERY SERIOUS ALEGATIONS HERE - BACK THEM UP, show me any evidence that the item was sent, do it right now, do it in the public forum

I have nothing to hide, I have your phone number / name / IP address - all that is needed to refer this to police

I demand an immediate apology for this absolutely disgraceful conduct
