coming from the east valley the 118 is probably faster than the 101 for those guys. i'm fine with whatever you guys decide though. i live close enough and don't mind driving.

hahah very awesome! we will have it by there then! I think giving this a 2-4 week notice is more than enough time and probably around the times 4-7 or so. anyone agree on this?

We should meet at TNT Motorsports every Tuesday night. There's already an Evo meet there on Tuesday's, it's right off Balboa & the 118, I talked to the owner of the shop & he said it woudn't be a problem. The Evo guys are great guys, everyone there is super friendly & there is plenty of parking! Let's at least try it for a week or 2 & see how it goes...If nobody likes it we can boucne & find somehwere else

I think that is a good idea, but I was hoping we could keep this a bimmer meet for the first time or so. We can discuss combining meets down the line. just my 2 cents...

Far. Probably a 35 mins drive with mild traffic.

I like the idea, but the meet is wayyy too early for me as well so I'm out. All the weekly meets I've ever gone to don't start until 8PM. We just meet up, get food, talk, and go home around 11PM or 12AM.

The shoots won't be good without a good background, man IMO.

If you just want to take pictures, your original time frame is good since Fall is here and it will get dark very quickly now. May want to tell the folks to clean the cars before coming too if it's a shoot meet.

If you guys want to do a good shoot..drive to the Target parking structure at the Topanga Canyon Mall at night, lol. That parking lot is beyond BRIGHT!

Honestly I don't know...I always go at super extreme hours, around 12AM, lol.

Here are some pictures from our cars I've taken up there..super bright pictures.

You can right click and hit view image to see it's true size. Socalevo resizes the pictures to a certain size. The pictures aren't that great since this was before I bought my SLR and was taken with a point n shoot.

I like midnight too but being in Porter Ranch and in that parking lot at that hour, we'd definitely attract the cops, which I really don't need at this point hehe...

That Westfield Promenade looks great at night. What about the valley cops? Are they pricks?

My buddy and I were in the Kaiser Permanente Panorama City parking lot at 10:30pm, on the top level, and it's cleared at night.

^No offense dude, but Panorama City is pretty hood, especially at night. Shooting goes down there quite often.

Porter Ranch isn't riced anymore. That was a couple of years ago when they had the Thursday rice meet, and even if we attract cops..so what? They're going to ask us to pop our hoods and see the stockness? LOL that's partly why I got rid of the Evo, to be worried free about cops.

I've been at the parking lot several times, and never got any beef from the security guards.

OT I just came back from the movies at Winnetka in Chatsworth, I think the place may be worthwhile...for eatery, there's a sushi place, The Habit, Subway, and Applebee's, and a Starbuck. It's about 2 miles from the In N Out location. Maybe you guys can go catch a movie before doing the shoot or something, haha.

On Balboa and Devonshire by where the old Circuit City used to be and is now a Korean church? That area is still ricey, haha. Riced cars doing burn outs along with bikes. I used to go to the pool hall there before they shut it down to the numbers of stabbings and shootings.
