I see I am not the only one who hates this colour...

No, this color screams "I am classy, mature, and sophisticated and refuse to contribute yet another silver/grey/black/white BMW to the overpopulation."
Also, you do realize there are more silver/grey/black/white rentals out there than there are platinum bronze ones, right? BJ |

Interesting color seriously, I think it's one that has to be seen in person to be appreciated though cause it's not photographing well. Though I agree completely on the White/Black overpopulation.... I wish my car wasn't Boy racer dipshit white... Just remember though, just because it's rare, and not a lot of people choose a color, does not mean it's good, classy, or mature.

07 335i Coupe / Platinum Bronze / Beige Dakota
I chose the Platinum Bronze for its varying hues. There is a noticable difference in color from morning through evening. This is an excellent example of BMW's outstanding paintwork. I live in South Florida, so I wanted a light color, but not white, no dark colors due to heat and swirls, and, finally, a color that is somewhat uncommon. The color combination is very classy but the car maintains its powerful gait. I think the car stands out more than the paint, however, so the color is still secondary. pics soon.

The flame surfacing really shines in this color too. The shadows and reflective surfaces play off each other like no other color. People stop and stare at my car all the time. Most of the ones that break their necks to get a glimpse? BMW owners. BJ |

335i Convertible Platinum Bronze Metallic Cream Beige Leather Gray Poplar Trim Beautiful, but still unnoticed by most, but I'd rather be under the radar anyway (which I'll monitor with Valentine1 lol). |

Well, there doesn't appear to be a thread regarding the sedan in platinum bronze. My wife and I have wanted a car with a color like this for a long time. Never occurred to us that we might be buying a Toyota or Lexus, LOL. Our first BMW. We're pretty happy with the color with beige leatherette interior.

Dark Brown leather/leatherette would be a nice combo with the platinum. Too bad BMW doesn't make a dark brown interior.
Color is OK. It's the right combo that sets it off. Cream doesn't do it justice IMO.

18 or 19in wheels will make ANY color work. But i'd never get this ghastly color, no offense to owners here, it's just my opinion. Screams Camry to me but as long as it fits the owner, it's all good. Underneath it's the same great chassis, haha.

Platinum Bronze
I would have to agree with some of you. You really have to see it in person. It caught my eye as soon as I walked in the showroom. Black and White are too hard to keep clean, and the other colors are ok, but this color really shows the curves and lines of the car. The detail is AWESOME! This is the color for me, and yes I am 40 years old. I have had many cars and colors before, and I am sure some of you can relate to that.

Add Saddle brown interior, BBS LMs and the aero kit and you have a decent looking BMW. Not my favorite color but it's do-able. I think its the stock color wheels in most photos that cheapen the look...needs a complex wheel with a polished lip. And this color just doesn't photograph well with the average camera being used. Needs one of the forum's pros to do it justice.

amen- I don't see how this is a camry color. I haven't seen any camry with this color to date. As to Black and white... aren't there just as many cars out that black, white and silver.
