Compliments to BMW Sydney

Hi i would like to give my appreciation and compliments to BMW Sydney, Particularly my salesperson Richard Yorkston.

You are probably aware of some problems i had a while ago when i posted up in this forum for help regarding buying a bmw 320i demo with a faulty backseat leather.

Well today I asked Richard and he told me to visit him for a look. Suprisingly he helped me exchanged the back seat with another demo car backseat without any damage. To be that nice when the contract has already been signed 2 weeks ago and when he has no responsibility to even help me with the scratch, let alone change the back seat for me. whats more, he helped me exchanged one of the mirror caps with the other demos as well because my current one had some minor scratch!

I am very happy

I recommend you guys to find this guy when you purchase in the future.

Cheers

+1 for Richard being a good guy. Although I got my car from someone else upstairs, I've had a chat with Richard a few times (friend of a friend). Also kinda like his accent lol.

+1 Exactly. Another fail for BMW Sydney... Sorry I meant, never fail to disappoint.

Glad it worked out for you OP. Kinda feel bad for the buyer of the other demo car though. If "Richard Yorkston" was a real stand up guy he and BMW Sydney would have just arranged for a new seat cover to be installed.

I am pretty sure another aussie forum member had both front seat covers replaced due to faulty leather damage/wear by BMW Sydney well, well into the warranty period, let alone on a demo car.

Na they'll just switch it again. This way you can have a two-tone interior if it's a different colour.

Sorry to hear that.

nope. Don't get any cleaning products from kmart... Think the bmw leather cleaners/lotions are like $30 - 50? Always worth paying that bit more if anything for peace of mind. Are you sure you didn't get a cleaner for fake leather (alcantara)?

Also should prob have checked it on a small hidden area first What colour is your leather? and the cleaner? The bmw one is white/cream

are you sure it's 30-50 dollars from bmw? i called them and they quote sth like 1500 dollars ( but i think its like a package with a few different cleaners like paint protection, vinyl conditioner, leather preserver and carpet and fabric cleaner). So fuking expensive

Bahahahaha! You kidding right! Leather cleaning products are different to the so called "leather protection package" cash grab from BMW dealers. The cleaning products are 30 bucks...LOL! Go to your dealer and buy the leather cleaning foam and end this thread or you can try Leyla's Intense Leather Cleaner in Hurstville.
