'09 328 purchase advice

My 22yo daughter needs a new car. The dealer we're working with (dad of a friend of hers, not BMW dealer), has a 2009 328 with 49,xxx miles. Auto, no other options.
Wondering if there are any issues we should be looking for. Carfax clean, one owner. Service records from BMW only has last oil change on 6/11, but could have been done at a non-dealer.
Had an '08 335 before our current M3, but I know the problems I had with my 335 don't apply to the 328 (HPFP, injectors, etc. ).

Thanks

Yes, I'll have to have her get it to a dealer before 50k to get everything updated. No Nav

Not necessarily..it depends on when the car was purchased originally. Warranty expires at 4 yrs OR 50k miles, whichever comes first.

OP, I would be concerned about it not being serviced since '11, especially with so many miles on the clock. Why would you pay to service it elsewhere when it can be done for free at a dealer?

It was punched 9/09, we'll take it to a BMW dealer ASAP to get the service up to date and see if there are some other issues. I never mentioned paying to service it elsewhere.
BMW dealer here quoted me $2530 for BMW gold warranty to 6 yrs/100k, $2980 for 7/100, doesn't seem worth it.
Extended maintenance $2095 for 2 yrs, also will pass.

Its not on a 328i 09.. I have one and if you get your work done at indy shops it is cheap.. You also save a ton of money by just changing your filters and battery. Then having them reset the code. They usually don't charge as long as you are getting an oil change.

Have the brakes, battery, and belts checked and maybe post/search in the non turbo engine /drivetrain/ exhaust section.

Sorry, someone said that maybe it was serviced at a non-BMW dealer since '11 and that's why there weren't service records. That's what I was referring to.

Yea, I get it now. I was just thinking maybe the prior owner wasn't near a BMW dealer so he did it on his own, trying to get the person selling the car to see if there are any records. Either way, should be able to get BMW to do a free service, since there's nothing in their records.
