N54 fuel limits solved? PTF Facebook page link..

I just saw this beautiful product discussed on the PTF Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/protuningfr...?stream_ref=10

I am really looking forward to seeing what the N54 un-chained from its fueling limitations looks like.

Way to go PTF and I for one thank you for always pushing this platform further!

Gotta love PTF. Can't wait for the single kit to come out. When I have the money that is for sure the option I would go with

Definitely in the same boat on the turbo kit. Extra fueling in the valves would not only fix our power concerns but also the intake valves getting gunked up.

Garage List
Looks very nice, I'm curious as to what's going to control the additional fuel injectors.

Looks like a quality product. Hope they allowed for inexpensive options and multiple specs for injectors to be used.

Yes, would be tuned with a split second box.

Same stuff thats being used on the mazdaspeeds. Cool setup but on the speeds were using a e85/93 mix along with a seperate e85 tank in the trunk.

Not something a lot of people are willing to do. Maybe these guys have a better option to running a secondary tank

I just saw that the C7 was able to get 1270rwhp from their stock fuel system, which is also DI. They had a thread on reddit but couldn't answer much besides "it's in the tune"...

Be interesting to see how the fuel system is setup on the C7.

While it has a wet kit, it still made 1024rwhp without nitrous. Which is really good if the DI fuel system is stock.

I have a 330 ZHP that I am debating selling, which would nicely fund a single turbo project. Or it could be saved for a lot less exciting items like an engagement ring or towards a down payment on a house. I wish I could make more "poor" decisions guilt free!

right? I'm curious why we can't get HPFP upgrades like the VW world has. They just change a little piston in the pump and boom done.

Maybe a patent is blocking this? Or maybe the aftermarket company doesn't want to spend a lot developing a product like that just for it to be duplicated in china for less. With the product their releasing it limits you to cobb devices since I'm assuming. This option might also be cheaper than a HPFP replacement, it's hard to say, although you would need additional injectors with this method. I'm sure one day the hpfp replacement will show up.

If anything people might just take them from the M3/m4 if they didn't change the outside design and increased the piston inside. If bmw did this I'm sure most would prefer that upgrade if it was substantial. If its the same old hpfp then your still back to the drawing board lol.
