Running a used JB4 on map 5 will cause all sorts of issues.
Re-flash the latest firmware (32.2?) This will reset all the adaptations. Flow the guide on the "other" site for base settings and go from there.

Have you tried running on map 0?

Hey bud I'm novice with the JB4 im guessing I will have to download the software onto laptop then plug into jb4 will there be a option for resetting adaptions? Yes ran on map 0 with no issues..

If you ran map 0 with no issues it rules out an installation issue.

You need to download the latest interface and firmware from the N54 tech support site.
Plug jb4 into the laptop and open the interface.
There is a option to update firmware.

All the info you need is on the support Web forum. It is a bit of a mission to find the info you require on there tho.
