Aftermarket Radio aerial for my E91 tourer?

Hi guys.

The radio reception in my car has gone pretty poor, I am still able to pickup all stations but it's losing signal and getting interference even on local stations where I'm 2 miles from the stations building itself!

The rear window demister has had a fault I think and shorted out I suspect this due to the tint starting to melt for about a 10mm long and 2mm thick section across a Demister line which is all I can think would be causing the aerial reception to be affected?..

Rather than replace the rear screen I was wondering if anyone had run an aftermarket aerial successfully in the e9x community?

Chris

Will be the wiring between the tailgate and the body, broken wires, or water inside the tailgate spoiler damaging the diversity unit (aerial).

Thanks for the reply buddy,

I'm pretty sure it's the rear wires in the screen, I just replaced the rear glass when I got it as someone had a scratch removed and it left marks so didn't fancy doing it again,

Anyone know of an aerial to try?
