LUX 5.0 with corner delete mod. IMHO corner delete makes the angels look even brighter because the amber doesn't take away attention from the white.

This is a whole new world for me.
JB, Vishu, AMS, Autowerks, I don't know where to start.... I was reading in another thread on here somewhere about a guy with (I think) a jb3 claming 12.50s or .30s can't remember, but I believe he said it was a stock car with this program or chip. I really think that Dinan is overpriced, even though the warranty is what makes it attractive. Someone also mentioned it's underpowered. Just looking for bang for the buck here... AND I don't wanna have to be a brain surgeon, or to dismantle 1/2 the car to do this. 1st on my agenda is to get good base-line out of it. I know the car has got more in it. Didn't realize I was leaving in 2nd gear, just thought it was turbo-lag, but I knew something was up with the traction. Been building and racing cars all my life. I thought D was drive and would start in 1st like any normal auto... man.. do I feel stupid. Glad I got on the net and started inquiring. As far as the weather this Saturday, 50% chance for rain with wind, means I'm not going to BG. Maybe next week weather permitting. |

AMS is just starting with the car so I'm not sure when they will actually be releasing parts. I wouldn't expect anything too quick, they will probably do a lot of R&D on their own car and getting the formula right first.
Vishnu; Shiv is constantly tweaking stuff and upgrading and adding.

06s throw an error. You need some type of resistor to fix the error. You can DIY it and splice into your taillights or you can buy bulbs with a resistor built in for $50.

I'm replacing my stock D1S with 6000k bulbs and fogs for 2500k Nokyas as we speak. Had to log on to the forums to see how to unclip the D1S. There's not a lot of room to work with in there and I have small hands! The Nokyas look great by the way.

Put this in the N54 FI section, but thought I'd mirror it here in case some of you don't get over there...
First, this is an uncorrected Dyno Dynamics. Multiply the numbers by 1.1 if you are used to seeing Dynojet numbers all the time. Violet is stock, 252whp Red is PROcede 3.0 with Doomsday stage 0 map, 308whp Black is PROcede 3.1 (11-14 maps) with nonDoomsday stage 1 map, 330whp The intakes helped peak power pretty nicely. The torque increase from the bottom up to 4500 is due to using a nonDoomsday map. The lagfix is awesome. Look how much faster the car spools! I'm pretty happy with the results. I think I will leave fully stock exhaust to appease the wife, but I am really interested in a bigger FMIC, because the stock one is not well suited to extreme use at this power level. Almost 80whp over stock on a Dyno Dynamics with just a tune and some cone intakes. |

on a side note, people drive me nuts over here. i got "raced" twice on the way into work today. the first time was on the interstate, i had freakin cruise control on, and some retard in a tiburon was in the middle lane, doing like 5 under. as i got next to him in the left lane, he somehow thought that i wanted to race him, in the rain/fog @ 8AM, doing the whole get up next to you, try to punch it, let off, punch it again, rinse and repeat like 5 times. just wow. 40 min later some lady who looked to be about 40 in a lincoln marquis decided she wanted to get all buckwild. i turned onto a 4 lane road (speed limit 40), entered on the left lane, she was in the right. she got up next to me, looked over, then punches it to get up to like 70, only to have to slam her brakes 5 seconds later to not completely plow through an intersection?!? i seriously dont get why people think everyone who's in a BMW is trying to race you just because they're right next to you. ridiculous. |

I saw a GT-R on Briley today. Holy balls. Managed to snag a couple crappy cell phone pix. It still had temporary tags. The second one looks crazy because he was moving while I was moving my phone.

Good to see you today Seth. Dyno Day FTW! I had some douche bag in a SE-R being like a pestering gnat on my way home from Smyrna just now. No matter how many times I taxed him and slowed back down he didn't get the point and at one point I nearly locked up the brakes on the interstate to try to get him to get off my ass. Stupid ass ricers.

oh that was your Evo! It looked good. I like the TE's a lot. What numbers did you finally put down? If I would have known that was you I would have introduced myself.

Aye, great to see you!
Jake, great to finally meet you! Man, Aye's Evo looks just awesome with all the tasteful mods he did. But then again, all three of them have. We need to do more dyno days. Maybe we can coax Shiv down here again shortly after the Rev II release! |
